Category Nursing - RN-Stepdown Job Type Contract Elevate your nursing career by working in a dynamic and supportive healthcare setting, providing exceptional care to patients requiring advanced monitoring and intervention. This contract opportunity is tailored for experienced Registered Nurses with a strong background in Stepdown and Telemetry care. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, play a vital role in patient recovery, and ensure high-quality, evidence-based nursing care.
Key Qualifications:
Current, valid RN license. Demonstrated expertise in Stepdown and/or Telemetry nursing. BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Recent clinical experience in an acute care environment. Proficient with telemetry monitoring systems and patient assessment. Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver compassionate, individualized care to patients transitioning from intensive care or requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and clinical status. Respond promptly to patient changes and collaborate with physicians regarding care plans. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to facility protocols. Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, care procedures, and post-discharge plans. Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record system. Ensure adherence to all safety, infection control, and quality standards.
