Desired Qualifications:

Current and unrestricted RN license required; school nursing experience preferred. Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential is a plus, though not mandatory. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Ability to adapt to dynamic school settings and work collaboratively with educators and families. CPR/BLS certification successful completion required. Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) may be considered if RN is unavailable.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer direct care, medication, and first aid based on individual student health needs. Develop and monitor individualized healthcare plans, including emergency and chronic illness protocols. Assist in health screenings and immunization compliance monitoring. Serve as a resource and advocate for student health concerns, participating in student support teams as needed. Maintain accurate, confidential health records and documentation. Educate staff and students on best health practices and serve in a consultative capacity for wellness initiatives.
