9695204-60140 Job Description Make a difference this school year as a dedicated Registered Nurse supporting students health and well-being in an educational setting near Hampshire, IL. This contract role is ideal for an RN eager to collaborate with educators and families, providing compassionate care and promoting wellness within a school environment. While an RN license is required and most desirable for the position, those with a Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential will be considered a bonus. Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) may also fulfill the position, but preference is given to RNs.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license; CSN credential a plus, but not required Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) may be considered but are least preferred Experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued Strong communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff Ability to manage time effectively and stay organized in a dynamic environment Compassionate approach and ability to remain calm during emergencies

Key Responsibilities:

Administer basic and emergency healthcare to students and staff as needed Develop and implement care plans for students with medical needs Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with regulations Serve as a resource to students, families, and school personnel regarding health-related issues Monitor for signs of illness or injury and take appropriate action Promote wellness initiatives and participate in health education activities as needed This is a contract position with immediate opportunities to start.
