Job Summary Bay Community Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team. This is a great opportunity for recent nursing graduates and nurses early in their careers who are looking to gain hands-on experience, strengthen their clinical skills, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients. As a Floor Nurse, you'll work closely with our providers to care for patients in a team-oriented primary care setting. Schedule Options:
Full-time:
Four 10-hour shifts per week
Part-time:
Available Flexible scheduling: Extended-hour opportunities may be available based on clinic needs Responsibilities Provide nursing care, perform clinical procedures, and administer medications and injections to adult and pediatric patients in accordance with provider orders and current CDC recommendations. Perform and assist with clinical procedures including nebulizer treatments, ear irrigations, hearing and vision screenings, urine and drug screens, glucose testing, spirometry, EKGs, and other procedures as assigned. Provide patient education and instructions under the direction of the provider. Obtain and document vital signs, patient information, and clinical care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Triage patient concerns, messages, and medication refill requests and communicate appropriately with providers. Recognize and respond appropriately to urgent and emergent situations according to established protocols. Maintain exam rooms, clinical supplies, equipment, and required safety and compliance logs. Participate in daily PCMH team huddles and assist in identifying high-risk patients who may benefit from care management. Provide quality, patient-centered care while supporting clinical outcomes, quality standards, and patient satisfaction. Maintain clinical competency, required credentials, licensure, and knowledge of current nursing standards and practices. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with
HIPAA, BCH
policies, and applicable regulatory requirements. Qualifications Active Maryland RN or LPN license in good standing. Current CPR/BLS certification required. Recent graduates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Strong communication skills, compassion, and a willingness to learn. Basic knowledge of medical equipment, devices, and clinical procedures. Familiarity with EMR systems and basic computer technology. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Pay:
From $60,000.00 per year
