Key Qualifications:

Active RN license Proven experience in a Med Surg (Medical-Surgical) setting Strong clinical assessment, patient monitoring, and documentation skills Comfort working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced medical environment Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Current BLS certification (additional certifications a plus) Willingness to adhere to facility policies, procedures, and safety standards

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to adult patients on a medical-surgical unit, including monitoring vitals, administering medications, and assisting with daily activities Collaborate with physicians and the broader healthcare team to develop and implement care plans Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and respond promptly to changes in condition Maintain accurate and complete patient records in compliance with documentation standards Support patient education efforts, ensuring patients and families are informed about treatment plans and care instructions Participate in shift handoffs and report significant findings to ensure continuity of care This contract position offers the chance to contribute to a committed healthcare team and gain valuable experience within the Med Surg specialty.
