Key Qualifications:

Current, active RN license required Previous nursing experience in a school setting preferred Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well with students, staff, and guardians Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to relevant regulations

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care for students, addressing injuries, chronic health issues, medications, and acute concerns during the school day Promote health education and wellness initiatives among students and staff Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state/federal requirements Serve as a resource for educators regarding student health or accommodation needs Communicate effectively with educators, administrators, and families regarding student health plans and safety protocols Monitor and manage inventory of health office supplies and medications Collaborate with faculty and support teams to foster a positive and healthy school environment This position offers a contract schedule of 37.5 hours per week, providing consistency and the chance to build strong relationships with students and staff members in a welcoming, supportive environment.
