Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to provide quality inpatient nursing care in an IHS healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will support patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective care.
Requirements:
Active, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state or territory Current BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred 2 3 professional references Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills Ability to meet IHS credentialing and background requirements
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients Assess patients, monitor changes in condition, and implement appropriate interventions Administer medications and treatments safely and monitor patient responses Develop and evaluate individualized patient care plans Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team Educate patients and families regarding treatment, medications, and discharge instructions Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR Follow IHS, infection control, patient safety, and nursing standards
