Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients while developing and implementing individualized plans of care. Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and other prescribed treatments accurately and safely. Monitor patient responses and communicate changes promptly to physicians and interdisciplinary care teams. Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) systems. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, pharmacists, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission standards, CMS regulations, and state Board of Nursing requirements. Adapt quickly to new clinical environments while maintaining exceptional patient care standards. Float to appropriate units within the scope of competency as required by the healthcare facility. Specialties We Recruit For Assignments are available in numerous specialties, including: Medical-Surgical Telemetry Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Stepdown Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) Surgical ICU (SICU) Neonatal ICU (NICU) Pediatric ICU (PICU) Emergency Department (ER) Labor & Delivery Postpartum Mother/Baby Operating Room (OR) PACU Endoscopy Cath Lab Interventional Radiology Oncology Orthopedics Behavioral Health Pediatrics Geriatrics Home Health Hospice Rehabilitation Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Skilled Nursing Dialysis Case Management Infusion Ambulatory Surgery Outpatient Clinics Qualifications Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association. ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, or specialty certifications as required by assignment. Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience in the applicable specialty (two years preferred for some assignments). Previous travel nursing experience is welcomed but not required. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly to new facilities, workflows, and patient populations. Experience using major EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or Medhost is preferred.
