Travel Pay:
Travel Rate (based on 37.5 hours): Hourly $15.09, Stipend (Lodging $966.00 + M&I $644.00) = $1,610.00

Shift Details:
7:30 AM-3:00
PM Duties & Responsibilities:
Interpret spoken instruction, discussions, and school activities into ASL for students Translate student responses from ASL into spoken English for teachers and peers Provide interpretation across settings, including: Classroom lessons Assemblies and school events Meetings and conferences Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, peers, and staff Review lesson plans, textbooks, and materials in advance to ensure accurate interpretation Modify interpreting techniques based on the student's communication level and needs Assist with Individualized Education Program (IEP) implementation and attend IEP meetings Support students with: Academic understanding Vocabulary development Social interaction and communication skills Maintain accurate conveyance of message content, tone, and intent during interpretation Collaborate with teachers and special education teams to support student progress Promote an inclusive learning environment for deaf and hard-of-hearing students Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree or completion of a sign language interpreter training program Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and spoken English Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA score ~3.2-3.5 or higher) Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing (preferred) Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree National certification (RID
