In this role, you will deliver comprehensive bedside care to adult patients, including assessments, IV medications, wound care, and telemetry monitoring. You will coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, document accurately in the EHR, and educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive Med Surg nursing care to adult patients in an acute care setting Perform ongoing patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and recognize changes in condition Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per provider orders and hospital protocols Document care accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate patient care plans Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge instructions Maintain patient safety through adherence to infection control and hospital policies Prioritize and triage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and handoff reports Support Gifted Healthcare's culture of respect, integrity, and high-quality patient care Required Skills Medical-Surgical nursing Patient assessment IV therapy and medication administration Telemetry monitoring Wound care Care planning and documentation Electronic Health Records (EHR) Patient and family education Clinical triage and prioritization Interdisciplinary team collaboration
