Compensation, Schedule & Benefits Pay Rate:

Starting at 26-27/hr for LVNs and $35/hr for RNs, scaling upward with experience

Schedule:

12-Hour Shifts (Rotating Weekends)

Perform physical assessments and log baseline vitals at the start of each hall rotation. Direct floor routines alongside certified nursing assistants to ensure personal care tasks stay on schedule. Communicate resident status changes directly to attending physicians and transcribe new medical orders. Provide targeted wound dressing changes and record skin observations in the electronic medical record. Deliver clear bedside shift handoffs to incoming nurses, reviewing pending labs and physician follow-ups. Review resident care plans regularly and update clinical interventions as needs change. Maintain stocked medication carts and confirm narcotic counts alongside oncoming nurses.
