Key Qualifications and Experience:

Active RN license in good standing Prior experience in school or pediatric nursing highly desirable Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with faculty, staff, and families Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school setting Current CPR certification

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to students and staff, including assessment, treatment, and referrals as needed Administer daily medications and execute care plans for those with chronic health needs Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid intervention Promote infection control and general health practices throughout the school Maintain thorough and confidential student health records in accordance with legal and ethical standards Liaise with parents, teachers, and outside healthcare providers to support students well-being Participate in health screenings and contribute to health education initiatives This contract role covers the full spring semester, running from February through May, with a schedule of 7:30am to 3:00pm, allowing a great balance for family or personal commitments.
