Work Environment You will be part of a collaborative and supportive work environment alongside a close-knit team of two physical therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). The practice operates onsite, fostering a dynamic atmosphere where continuous learning and professional growth are encouraged. Our clinic maintains a standard work schedule from Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while delivering essential care to our patients. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to determine patients' goals, rehabilitation needs, and function levels, ensuring a tailored approach to their care. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices and various therapeutic modalities. Maintain an efficient patient load, with a commitment to providing quality care through a focus on one patient per hour. Employ a range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and electrotherapy, to enhance movement and reduce pain. Educate patients on non-surgical alternatives and promote strategies for medication minimization while exploring integrative treatment options. Monitor and document treatment progress meticulously, ensuring effective communication with patients regarding their recovery journey. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the facility, ensuring a holistic approach to each patient's treatment plan. Motivate and support patients throughout their surgeries and recovery processes to achieve optimal outcomes. Encourage and advocate for a healthy lifestyle by designing customized fitness and wellness programs aimed at improving coordination, strength, and flexibility. Patient Population / Client Focus The primary patient population consists of individuals undergoing rehabilitation from orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and post-operative care following orthopedic surgeries. You will work with a variety of patients, each presenting unique challenges that require individualized treatment to restore mobility and function effectively. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred. An active Physical Therapist license in California without disciplinary actions is required. Minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating competence and confidence in your clinical skills. Exceptional proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design effective exercise programs. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably including WebPT, is advantageous. Preferred Experience While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with experience in sports rehabilitation, post-operative care, and treatment of complex orthopedic conditions will be prioritized. Skills in advanced rehabilitation techniques and innovative approaches in patient care are highly valued. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
