Overview:

Major Job Functions:

1. Registration 2. Scheduling 3. Estimates/collections 4. Communication and exceptional customer service 5. Process flow of patient therapy episode of care 6. Referral entry 7. Verification of insurance and benefits 8. Processes prior authorization of services 9. Assists in management of work queues as directed

Qualifications:

Education/formal training/licensure/certification/experience: High School graduate; knowledge of medical terminology.

Preferred:

Related college/continuing education or experience in one or more of the: Customer service Healthcare office Billing/coding Business
