Job Description

Overview We're seeking a warm, professional, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients. This role is essential in setting the tone for our patients' experience—from booking appointments to warmly welcoming them into our space. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a background in health information management, contributing to the efficient operation of our front desk and overall patient care. Duties Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process. Schedule and confirm appointments using our EMR. Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage appointment scheduling Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation review in compliance with health information management standards. Address patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered, insurance coverage, and billing processes. Check patients in and out while maintaining HIPAA and , process payments, and maintain accurate records Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to enhance the patient experience. Support the team with light administrative tasks as needed Experience Previous experience in a medical office setting is required. Familiarity with EMR software is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle patient concerns professionally and empathetically. Knowledge of medical office management practices, including documentation review and health information management principles.
