Work Environment This role is designed for a remote work setting which compliments our outpatient services. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of clients, forming trusting relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries. Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess progress, stability, and readiness for discharge when appropriate. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs. Maintain detailed documentation of clinical progress notes and treatment outcomes to ensure compliance and quality of care. Administer comprehensive intake assessments to gauge the needs and challenges of new clients. Facilitate predominantly individual therapy sessions, maximizing effectiveness in virtual and in-person formats. Engage in individual supervision sessions to reflect on practice and enhance therapeutic skills. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse group of clients, including those dealing with psychiatric conditions as well as those struggling with substance abuse issues. This role requires sensitivity to the complexities of each client's situation, ensuring that all therapy remains client-centered and responsive to individual needs. By fostering stability and growth, you will play a critical role in enhancing mental wellness in the communities we serve. Qualifications A Master's Degree in mental health or a related field is required. Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington state. Ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements for relevant clinical settings effectively. A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations is essential. Demonstrated competency in assessment, diagnosis, and providing both individual and group therapy. A basic proficiency in computer skills and electronic documentation systems is necessary for effective practice. Preferred Experience Experience with therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other evidence-based practices. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and their effective utilization in therapeutic settings.
