Job Description

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Day Shift Haverhill, New Hampshire Full-Time $32 $45/hr Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a patient-focused healthcare team in Haverhill, New Hampshire. This day shift role involves providing high-quality cardiopulmonary care to patients across a variety of clinical settings, supporting both acute and chronic respiratory needs. The RRT will work closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary staff to assess, treat, and manage patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
  • Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, chest physiotherapy, and ventilator management.
  • Manage and monitor patients on mechanical ventilation, including weaning protocols.
  • Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and analysis as needed.
  • Respond to respiratory emergencies, including Code Blue and rapid response situations.
  • Conduct patient and family education on respiratory conditions, treatments, and equipment use.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient care in electronic medical records.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment.
  • Follow hospital policies, infection control standards, and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
  • Active state respiratory care license (New Hampshire or eligibility required).
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience in acute care or hospital-based respiratory therapy preferred. Compensation & Schedule
  • $32 $45 per hour, based on experience
