This key clinical position supports the efforts of the cardiopulmonary physicians and staff providing respiratory care. Qualifications High School Diploma required, New York State Registration as Respiratory Therapists, and Formal Training required. One to three (1-3) years' experience as Registered Respiratory Therapists in a hospital setting. Equivalent experience with patients and demonstrated Respiratory Therapy Competencies. Skills with , Nasal Cannula, Vent mask, Face Tent, Aerosol masks, Trach collar and Humidifier, Continuous Mechanical Ventilators.
