Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is currently hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist to work a Full Time, 14-week assignment! Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center
  • Woodbridge, VA $80.
00/hr DAY shift, 7am-7pm 14-week assignment No benefits Overview The Registered Respiratory Therapist builds upon the overall pulmonary management in identifying and implementing physician directed respiratory care interventions for an individual or a group of patients. Works cooperatively with nursing and other health care team members for professional respiratory care practice for all patients ranging in ages from neonates to adults in all clinical and ambulatory settings. Responsible for the appropriate age specific assessment and treatment of patients. May have access to, or oversight of Protected Health Information (PHI) in the course of carrying out position duties. Associates or Bachelor's degree required. Non degreed applicants with RRT credentials prior to January 1, 2006 and graduates from a military RT program with RRT credentials will also be considered. State license, active NBRC RRT and BLS required at time of hire. For new graduates only, must have State license and BLS at time of hire, and must obtain
NBRC RRT
within 6 months of hire date. Education Associate's Degree

  • Respiratory Therapy Certification/Licensure Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Certification
  • National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Respiratory Therapist License
  • State license
  • Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP) Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Certification
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Experience 1 year of clinical respiratory care experience (preferred) 2 years of NICU or PICU experience (strongly preferred)
