Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a vibrant educational environment near Cabot, AR. This role offers the chance to work onsite at a daycare center, providing vital speech-language services to a caseload of 36-40 students. The assignment begins as soon as possible, continuing through May 21, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license required; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not mandatory Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus Strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive learning atmosphere Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation

Role Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify communication disorders and develop individualized intervention plans Deliver speech and language therapy to children at the daycare center, adjusting strategies as needed to meet each student's unique needs Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to support student progress Participate in IEP meetings, contribute insights, and assist in goal development for each student Maintain thorough records of services, student progress, and required documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines Stay informed about the latest best practices in school-based SLP work This position provides the opportunity to make a lasting difference in children's lives, working alongside passionate, dedicated colleagues.
