Job Summary - Full Time or Part Time Speak To Me Pediatric Therapy is seeking an experienced, licensed Speech and Language Pathologist for our Mooresville/Lake Norman clinic. We are looking for a dynamic therapist interested in working with children birth to 18 years old in a clinical setting. As a Speech Therapist, you will be meeting with new patients, assessing their speech needs, and creating personalized treatment plans to help them reach their goals. You will also be documenting all patient care, observing and participating in treatment, and adjusting goals and milestones as needed for the best possible outcomes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of speech pathology, is able to provide compassionate care to every patient, and has excellent organizational skills. Collaborative approach to intervention with speech, occupational and physical therapy are all offered at this location. We have a passion for helping children reach their full potential with an innovative and collaborative approach! We also offer other settings if desired.
Responsibilities :
Working with children and families remediating articulation, language, oral motor, phonological, and fluency disorders. Feeding and myofunctional disorders. Interventions for infant feeding. Conduct assessments to evaluate feeding/swallowing disorders. Evaluating patients using multiple assessments. Developing treatment plans based on evaluation results. Provide speech and language services in accordance with the patient's POC. Communicating progress and educating family members. Entering daily information into an easy-to-use web-based documentation system with easy report writing with evaluation templates. Participate as part of the multi-disciplinary team. Qualifications Active NC state license and ASHA certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills Strong charting and documentation skills Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite
