Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students for the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time contract position provides the flexibility to work onsite or virtually, offering a tailored professional experience to match your preferences and strengths. In this role, you'll have the chance to collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement effective therapy plans, help students unlock their communication potential, and be a vital part of a caring, multidisciplinary team. Whether onsite or remote, your expertise as an SLP will make a lasting difference in students' educational journeys.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid ASHA Certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology, SLP-CCC) Current South Carolina SLP license Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Commitment to fostering growth and resilience in K-12 student populations Comfortable adapting to both onsite and virtual service delivery
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive care Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary evaluations Provide direct therapy sessions and monitor students' progress Offer consultation and resources for teachers and parents Empower students to communicate confidently and succeed academically—whether you thrive working face-to-face or prefer the autonomy of virtual service delivery, your skills are needed.
