Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic educational environment. This role is ideal for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist who holds both active South Carolina SLP licensure and SC Department of Education certification. You'll provide critical speech therapy services, primarily onsite at a local primary school, with flexibility for virtual (VOCO) delivery if needed. The position runs from ASAP through late May 2027 and offers full-time hours at 37.5 hours per week. Your expertise will empower students to develop their communication skills, enhance their confidence, and achieve academic goals. Success in this position requires professionalism, a strong understanding of school-based services, and a passion for working with young learners.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid South Carolina SLP license SC Department of Education SLP certification on hand Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) School-based experience strongly preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders Deliver direct speech therapy services onsite (virtual optional) Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations Maintain thorough and compliant records Provide consultative support to staff and families as needed
