The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience in a bakery, with from scratch baking, familiarity with a la carte service as well as large events, and enjoys working in a busy restaurant environment. Candidate must be capable of taking direction as well as directing staff and multi-tasking effectively. Responsibilities Measure and assemble dishes Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef to prepare baked goods and desserts during our dining hours Maintain accurate food inventories Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures Rotate stock items as per established procedures Restock bakery for subsequent shifts Maintain a clean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards Ensure that the food prep area and bakery are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift Skills At least 2 year of professional from scratch baking experience required Able to read and follow standardized recipes Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen/bakery atmosphere ServSafe Certification preferred but not required Weekends and Holiday availability a must Full Time Benefits Include
