Responsibilities Decorate cakes and baked goods with precision, creativity, and adherence to recipes and customer specifications Prepare a variety of baked items including pastries, cookies, bread, and other confections with high-quality standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, knives, and decorating tools Package baked goods carefully for display or customer purchase to ensure freshness and presentation quality Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols Assist customers with selections, answer questions about products, and provide friendly service to enhance their shopping experience Support food production processes during peak hours by preparing ingredients and assisting in high-volume baking operations Qualifications Proven pastry or baking experience with strong cake decorating skills; prior culinary or kitchen experience is highly valued Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and food safety management practices Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently; familiarity with operating bakery machinery is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory Experience in food industry settings such as bakeries, restaurants, catering or food production environments Strong knife skills and proficiency in pastry preparation techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards High-volume production experience is preferred to thrive during busy periods Join us if you're passionate about creating delectable baked goods and delivering memorable customer experiences!
