Duties Prepare doughs, batters, and fillings according to established recipes, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, and decorating tools safely and efficiently. Decorate cakes and pastries with precision using cake decorating techniques to meet customer specifications. Package baked goods carefully for display or customer purchase while maintaining a clean workspace. Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper handling procedures and sanitation practices. Assist in food preparation tasks including slicing, portioning, and assembling baked items for service or catering. Support high-volume production needs by managing multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring quality control. Experience Previous bakery or pastry experience is highly preferred, including familiarity with dough preparation and baking techniques. Hands-on experience with cake decorating and pastry presentation is a strong advantage. Knowledge of food safety management practices within the food industry is essential. Experience operating kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and other baking tools is required. Demonstrated ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in baked goods production. Customer service experience in a food environment is beneficial for engaging with clients or team members.
