Duties Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies, following established recipes and standards Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, and dough sheeters safely and efficiently Decorate cakes and pastries with precision using various cake decorating techniques to meet customer specifications Package baked items carefully for retail display or catering orders while maintaining food safety standards Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety management protocols and sanitation procedures Assist in food production tasks such as dough preparation, pastry assembly, and portioning to support high-volume output Provide excellent customer service by offering product knowledge and ensuring customer satisfaction when needed Requirements Proven experience in baking, pastry preparation, or related food industry roles; culinary experience preferred Strong knife skills and proficiency in dough preparation techniques Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and food safety management systems Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in baked goods quality Experience with cake decorating techniques is highly desirable Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory levels Previous experience operating kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofers; high-volume production experience is a plus Customer service orientation with effective communication skills Catering or restaurant experience is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Join us as a Baker where your culinary creativity will shine!
