Full-time and part-time opportunities Morning and daytime shifts | Weekend availability required About the Role Third Round Social is hiring experienced baristas to join the opening team of our new café in Commerce City. We're building a coffee program centered around quality, consistency, and genuine hospitality. Our menu includes espresso, hand-whisked matcha, house chai, pour-over coffee, cold brew, tea, and seasonal specialty drinks featuring syrups and ingredients made in-house. We're looking for people who already understand the fundamentals of working behind a commercial espresso bar and want to help build a new café from the beginning. This is not a push-button coffee position. You should be comfortable working with a commercial semi-automatic espresso machine and grinder, steaming milk, preparing espresso drinks, and working efficiently through a café rush. What You'll Do Dial in espresso and make grinder adjustments throughout service Prepare espresso-based beverages consistently and to recipe Steam and texture milk properly for lattes, cappuccinos, and other drinks Prepare matcha, chai, pour overs, cold brew, teas, and specialty beverages Learn and execute our seasonal drinks and house-made ingredients Provide warm, polished, and genuinely engaging hospitality Talk confidently with guests about our coffee and menu Work efficiently during busy periods without sacrificing drink quality Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar throughout service Complete opening, closing, prep, restocking, and cleaning responsibilities Handle POS transactions accurately Communicate and work closely with the rest of the café team What We're Looking For At least 6 months of commercial barista experience is required. One year or more is preferred. Strong candidates will have experience with: Commercial semi-automatic espresso machines and grinders Espresso preparation and dialing in Milk steaming and texture Café workflow during high-volume periods Drink consistency and recipe execution Guest service Cleaning and maintaining an organized coffee bar You do not need to know our recipes before you arrive. We'll train you on our standards. What matters is that you care about the product, notice the details, take feedback well, and want every drink leaving the bar to be made correctly.
