Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
• Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register or POS system
• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and service areas
• Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe and healthy environment
• Assist with food preparation, such as assembling sandwiches or pastries
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations
• Upsell additional products or menu items to increase sales

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of coffee and espresso beverages
• Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Basic math skills for calculating orders and making change
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and coworkers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
