Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages using established recipes and standards. Handle food preparation tasks, including serving freshly baked donuts and other baked goods with care and efficiency. Operate POS system to process transactions accurately while managing cash handling responsibilities. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any questions or concerns professionally. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards across the café area, including food handling, sanitation, and proper food storage practices. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety. Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring the café remains inviting and well-organized. Requirements Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred; passion for coffee is a plus! Experience with POS systems to facilitate smooth transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
