! The Bridgewater Dome is currently looking to add energetic and friendly staff to our team! Front Counter Staff are responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving a variety of food and beverage items. This role ensures the cleanliness and organization of the snack bar area, maintains inventory, and follows all health and safety regulations to deliver a positive experience for all patrons of the Bridgewater Sports Complex.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions using a POS system.
  • Prepare and serve snacks, beverages, and other menu items.
  • Ensure all food and beverages are presented in an appealing and hygienic manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the snack bar, including counters, equipment, and dining areas.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures.
  • Regularly clean and sanitize all equipment and surfaces.
  • Monitor stock levels and restock items as necessary.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
  • Assist with special events and promotions as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure efficient operation of the snack bar.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in food service or customer service is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Work primarily in a snack bar setting within the Bridgewater Dome.
  • Exposure to kitchen equipment, food, and beverages.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Lifting and carrying items up to 25 pounds.
  • Regular use of hands to handle food and operate equipment.
