Looking for a seasonal job to work around your school and sport schedule?! The Bridgewater Dome is currently looking to add energetic and friendly staff to our team! The Snack Bar Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving a variety of food and beverage items. This role ensures the cleanliness and organization of the snack bar area, maintains inventory, and follows all health and safety regulations to deliver a positive experience for all patrons of the Bridgewater Sports Complex.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions using a POS system.
• Prepare and serve snacks, beverages, and other menu items.
• Ensure all food and beverages are presented in an appealing and hygienic manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the snack bar, including counters, equipment, and dining areas.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures.
• Regularly clean and sanitize all equipment and surfaces.
• Monitor stock levels and restock items as necessary.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
• Assist with special events and promotions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure efficient operation of the snack bar.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service or customer service is an advantage.
• Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

• Work primarily in a snack bar setting within the Bridgewater Dome.
• Exposure to kitchen equipment, food, and beverages.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Lifting and carrying items up to 25 pounds.
• Regular use of hands to handle food and operate equipment.
