Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages with precision and flair. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling practices. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Operate the POS systems efficiently for order processing and payment transactions. Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, assisting with ordering supplies, and ensuring freshness of ingredients. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations during busy hours. Handle cash transactions responsibly while maintaining accurate cash handling practices. Stay updated on coffee trends and techniques to enhance your beverage preparation skills. Qualifications Previous barista or coffee experience is highly desirable; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Strong customer service skills with an ability to create a welcoming environment for guests. Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications. Knowledge of food safety regulations and food preparation standards is essential. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when needed. A passion for coffee culture and eagerness to learn about different brewing methods.
