In this role, you will be the face of our business, providing excellent customer service while preparing orders, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring customers have a positive experience. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication skills, and takes pride in delivering quality food and service. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process cash, credit card, and mobile payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter, food preparation areas, and dining spaces.
- Restock ingredients, beverages, snacks, and supplies as needed.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
- Answer customer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and daily specials.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and inventory checks.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, food service, deli, restaurant, or retail environments preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Food handling experience is a plus.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
