Job Description

We're a high‑volume small batch bakery and coffee shop heart of Astoria, and we're looking to add a reliable, people‑forward member to our front‑of‑house team. The barista helps to oversee the coffee/espresso program. Weekends are required. You'll be responsible for: Customer Hospitality — Greeting guests promptly with warmth and professionalism Drink & Food Preparation — Lead making high‑quality drinks and breakfast items to order Inventory Management — Lead stocking, rotating, and maintaining pars Food Portioning — Completing daily pars and portioning tasks Opening & Closing — Carrying out full open/close procedures POS Operation — Operating Square POS accurately and confidently Independent Workflow — Staying focused and self‑directed during busy periods What We're Looking For Previous barista experience is required. Compensation & Schedule Weekend shifts only (Saturday and Sunday $18.00/hour starting wage Performance‑based increases Very generous customer tips

Pay:

From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 12.0 per week
