Job Description
We are located in downtown Beaverton. We typically receive a lot of applications from the Portland area so please take in consideration travel time before applying.
Our available position may have variable hours and shifts but there is a future opening for Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday around 28 hours a week, with the opportunity to work additional times and shifts as we head into our busy season. Shifts vary but start as early as 7:30 am and are as late as 4pm. Please apply only if you have barista and food handling experience. The job also includes food prep and sandwich making. Please include a cover letter and let us know your current availability and if you expect it to change in the next 6 months and if you plan to take time off, in the next 3 months. Compensation:
Hourly starts at $17 + tips + $1 per online order completed during scheduled shift with opportunity for periodic raises
•This job will include full barista training from a certified Water Avenue barista trainer, from our head roaster, on a fully manual La Marzocco espresso machine. We will meet you where you are at in terms of skill and knowledge and train you on best practices when working with the single origin coffees we offer. Our roasting company is turning 6 this year and our coffeehouse is turning 3 this fall! We only have the one location. There are no roasting positions available.
