Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Coffee House is hiring a Café Associate to provide friendly customer service and support daily café operations. This role assists with beverage preparation, customer orders, food service, cleaning, stocking, and maintaining a welcoming and efficient café environment. Common Job Roles Café Associate Café Team Member Coffee Shop Associate Barista Associate Customer Service Associate Key Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service. Take customer orders and process payments accurately. Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company standards. Assist with food preparation, packaging, and display organization. Maintain a clean and organized café, counter, and dining areas. Restock beverages, ingredients, supplies, and merchandise Operate coffee-making and café equipment safely and efficiently. Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Support team members during busy service periods Perform additional café and customer service duties assigned by management. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous café, restaurant, retail, barista, or customer service experience is an asset but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand for extended periods and multitask effectively Preferred Skills Experience preparing coffee and other beverages Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Experience operating POS or payment systems Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities Good organizational and time management skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn About the
