Job Description

Job Overview Join a dynamic team as a Sales Associate/Tea Barista, where you will be the friendly face that creates memorable experiences for our customers through our all day tea tastings. If you have a passion for Tea service with your sales expertise to deliver exceptional customer service. Whether crafting delicious beverages, assisting customers with their selections, or processing transactions efficiently, you'll be at the heart of our vibrant Tea Nook environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in retail sales and beverage service while contributing to a welcoming community space. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of teas to customers with our infamous daily tea tastings Ability to converse and bring people into the shop for a tea experience Educate customers on tea types, flavors, and brewing methods Provide excellent customer service and create a fun, welcoming experience Assist with retail sales, merchandising, and maintaining a clean workspace Operate POS system and handle transactions accurately Help uphold the overall vibe and standards of the tea nook

What We're Looking For:

Previous barista experience preferred A strong interest in learning about tea A true people person —friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused able to bring people into the shop for tea tastings Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Comfortable standing for long periods and multitasking during busy times Retail or hospitality experience is a plus
