Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and experienced Barista to join our dynamic team for morning shifts from Monday through Thursday. In this role, you will be the face of our café, delivering exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at the end of shifts. Maintain cleanliness of the café area by adhering to food safety standards, food handling protocols, and sanitation procedures. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any questions or special requests. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and beverage assembly. Manage time effectively during busy mornings to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety. Qualifications Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage service. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions. Previous food service experience with a focus on customer satisfaction in café or retail environments. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume mornings efficiently. Strong communication skills with a friendly attitude that enhances the guest experience. Pay:

$17.13 - $29.56 per hour Expected hours: 6.0 - 32.0 per week
