Job Description
Overview Apple Annie's Cookie Bakery is a recently opened location in Martinsburg, WV! We are the shop to find all the best cookies and coffee at a great price! We are currently seeking motivated Baristas/Bakers to join our team with enthusiasm! This job is a tipped position. Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and iced beverages, including coffee, espresso, and tea
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate the register and precisely handle payments
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while making drinks and serving cookies
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner
- Communicate with customers effectively to ensure the highest satisfaction and proper resolutions
- Correctly answer questions regarding our cookie and coffee selection
- Sustain visually pleasing and clean cookie displays throughout the day
- Establish constructive, positive employee and customer rapport
- Prep and mix cookie dough ingredients
- Properly weigh/ball and bake cookies efficiently
- Maintain FIFO procedures (first in first out) and store product appropriately
Skills/Qualifications:
- Effective communication and active listening skills for conversing with customers
- Ability to accurately remember orders and ensure correct fulfillment
- Consistently display great customer service skills and appropriate engagement
- Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and effective responsiveness as necessary
- Oriented toward serving others and helping customers
- Align and communicate with others to ensure efficiency and effectiveness throughout daily operation
- Proficiency in basic math for cash handling
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
