Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of beverages and food items. Use POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and responsible alcohol service protocols. Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed, and tracking product usage to minimize waste. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, including banquet or catering events. Handle cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change. Stay informed about current trends in mixology, craft beer, wine knowledge, and spirits to provide expert recommendations. Ensure all bar operations comply with health regulations and safety standards within the hospitality industry. Experience Proven experience working as a bartender in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments preferred. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable. Demonstrated expertise in cocktail creation, beverage recipe development, and mixology techniques. Experience serving in high-volume settings like banquet events or catering is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with food handling procedures, alcohol service regulations, and food safety standards. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in beverage preparation. Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, craft beer options, and current industry trends enhances guest interactions.
