Job Description

Job Title:
Wedding Bartender Job Overview:

We are looking for a bartender to serve guests at weddings and other special events. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely and professional manner, while ensuring that guests have a positive and memorable experience. Most if not all shifts will be nights and weekends. Embodying warm hospitality with an understanding of the service industry is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

Arrive one hour prior to event start and prep garnishes / mixers / bar setup Set up and stock the bar areas before the event Greet guests and take drink orders when bar service begins (typically after ceremony) Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to guest preferences Check IDs to ensure guests are of legal drinking age Collect payment for drinks and manage cash transactions for events with a cash bar Track drink service for events with a hosted dollar amount Maintain a clean and organized bar area Monitor alcohol consumption and prevent over-serving Respond to guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner Break down and clean up the bar area & all dishes used after the event

Qualifications:

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professionalmanner while managing many moving pieces Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude Availability to work weekends and evenings as needed Must be at least 18 years of age and be currently TIPS certified Physical Requirements Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects, such as kegs or cases of liquor Must be ablet to bend, stoop, and reach overhead Pay The pay for this position will depend on experience and will range from $14

•$16 per hour. The job has potential for tips.
