Responsibilities Prepare the bar area by cleaning, organizing supplies, and maintaining hygiene standards in accordance with food service bar safety compliance. Restock bar supplies including glassware, garnishes, alcohol, and mixers efficiently to ensure smooth service. Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes promptly to maintain a tidy environment. Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Operate Shift4 POS system for cash handling and order processing accurately. Support bartenders by manual handling of heavy bottles or kegs safely and efficiently during busy hours. Maintain venue beverage service standards by adhering to safety protocols and ensuring quality presentation of drinks. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly. Perform regular cleaning of the bar area including bar cleaning tasks to uphold cleanliness standards throughout shifts. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is highly preferred, especially in bars, nightclubs, banquet settings, or catering roles. Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely, including moving kegs or supplies as part of daily operations. Strong communication skills combined with excellent customer service abilities to create positive guest interactions. Knowledge of food industry safety standards and food handling procedures ensures compliance during service. Experience working in fast-paced venues like nightclubs or large events enhances your ability to thrive under pressure. Basic math skills are essential for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Work assigned shifts and be on time. Be available to cover sick calls and or vacations or time off.
