Bartender Job Overview:

LGC Hospitality Staffing is hiring dependable and experienced Bartenders to support restaurants, hotels, banquet facilities, sporting events, concerts, and other hospitality venues throughout Indiana. This is a temporary, on-call position ideal for individuals who are professional, customer-focused, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, providing excellent customer service, maintaining an organized bar area, and following all applicable alcohol service and safety regulations while representing LGC professionally at client locations.

Assignment Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and client standards Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to guests Verify guest identification and follow all applicable age-verification requirements Follow responsible alcohol service practices and Indiana alcohol laws Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area Process customer transactions accurately and handle cash or POS transactions as assigned Monitor inventory and restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other supplies Maintain proper sanitation of bar equipment, glassware, and work areas Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, managers, and event personnel Assist with bar setup and breakdown before and after events Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and ready to work

Requirements:

Current Indiana Alcoholic Beverage Commission (IABC) alcohol server license/permit required Previous bartending experience required Knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, cocktails, and responsible alcohol service Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods Basic cash handling and POS experience preferred Ability to verify identification and follow Indiana alcohol service regulations Reliable transportation to various job sites Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Professional appearance and dependable attendance
