The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving a variety of beverages, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong knowledge of wine, cocktails, and restaurant operations, along with proficiency in POS systems. The bartender will play a key role in enhancing the overall guest experience through expert drink preparation and engaging interaction. Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, and other specialty drinks. Maintain an extensive knowledge of wine types, pairings, and service standards to assist guests with selections. Operate POS systems efficiently to process orders accurately and handle transactions securely. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any special requests or dietary needs. Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and complies with health and safety regulations. Restock supplies as needed and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction. Uphold all responsible alcohol service policies and promote a safe environment for guests. Skills Proven experience as a bartender, with a strong background in cocktail preparation. In-depth knowledge of wine varieties, tasting notes, and proper serving techniques. Experience working in a restaurant setting, understanding the dynamics of high-volume service environments. Proficiency with POS systems for order entry and transaction processing. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and warmly. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
