Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits with precision and flair. Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional customer service. Manage cash transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments securely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Engage with guests to promote specials, upsell menu items, and enhance their overall experience through friendly interaction. Develop new beverage recipes and experiment with mixology techniques to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Support bar management in inventory control, stock replenishment, and maintaining compliance with health regulations. Requirements Proven experience in bartending or serving within a restaurant or hospitality setting; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately. Demonstrated expertise in cocktail making, wine knowledge, craft beer experience, and spirits familiarity. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tables or bar stations efficiently. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math for inventory management, and food safety knowledge. Experience with beverage recipe development and mixology techniques preferred. Knowledge of food industry standards including food handling safety protocols. Hospitality industry experience including catering or banquet service is advantageous.
