Daytime shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed Position Overview We are seeking a friendly, professional, and reliable Daytime Bartender to join our team at a private country club. The ideal candidate enjoys providing exceptional service, building relationships with club members and guests, and creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the bar and club facilities. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, knows how to stay busy during slower periods, and can provide attentive service during busy lunch, golf, and social hours. Responsibilities Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages according to club standards. Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to members and guests. Develop positive relationships with regular club members while maintaining appropriate boundaries and professionalism. Take food and beverage orders and communicate effectively with the kitchen and service staff. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar throughout the shift. Assist with setup and closing duties, including stocking, cleaning, and inventory. Maintain knowledge of the club's beverage offerings, specials, and events. Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, golf staff, and management to ensure a smooth member experience. Handle member requests and concerns professionally and communicate issues to management when necessary. Follow all club policies, health and safety regulations, and service standards. Qualifications Previous bartending or restaurant/bar experience preferred. Excellent customer-service and communication skills. Ability to remain professional, patient, and personable in a high-contact member environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently. Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift and carry beverage supplies as needed. Must meet all applicable legal requirements for alcohol service. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone with a great personality, a strong work ethic, and a good sense of humor who understands that working at a private club is about more than simply making drinks. Our bartenders become familiar faces to members and play an important role in creating the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere our club is known for. If you can pour a great drink, remember a regular's order, listen to the same golf story twice, and still greet them with a smile the third time, we'd love to meet you.
