American Yacht Club is seeking an experienced, hospitality-focused Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. We are a private yacht club with a strong emphasis on personalized service, professionalism, and creating a welcoming experience for our members and their guests. Our beverage program includes classic and contemporary cocktails, an extensive spirits selection, wine, draft and packaged beer, and seasonal beverage offerings throughout several dining and bar areas. This is a non-tipping position with an hourly rate of $24-$28, based on experience. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is personable, polished, dependable, and comfortable building relationships with members while maintaining professional service standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing classic and contemporary cocktails accurately and consistently
• Providing knowledgeable beer, wine, spirits, and cocktail service
• Learning member names, preferences, and beverage selections
• Providing warm, attentive service to members and guests
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
• Completing opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities
• Accurately entering orders and transactions through the POS system
• Assisting with bar setup and breakdown for club events
• Following all responsible alcohol service and safety procedures
• Communicating effectively with bartenders, servers, culinary staff, and management
• Remaining engaged and productive throughout the entire scheduled shift Qualifications
• Previous bartending experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
• Strong hospitality and communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to work efficiently during high-volume service
• Comfortable working as part of a team
• Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and club events
