Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, taking orders accurately and offering personalized recommendations. Manage POS systems for efficient order processing and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment for all patrons. Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and glassware as needed to keep the bar fully equipped during busy hours. Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service coordination during events like banquets or catering functions. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings preferred; hospitality or food service experience is essential. Familiarity with POS operation; cash handling skills are required. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, alcohol serving regulations, and responsible beverage service practices. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Ability to perform basic math for cash transactions, retail math for inventory management, and food industry calculations. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for diverse guests.
