Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits with precision and flair. Take customer orders accurately, process cash and POS transactions efficiently using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and food handling standards. Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep our offerings fresh and exciting. Manage bar inventory, monitor stock levels, and assist with ordering supplies to ensure seamless service. Collaborate with kitchen staff during events such as banquets or catering to deliver a cohesive guest experience. Skills Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, and spirits to craft high-quality drinks. Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining excellent service standards. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that fosters guest loyalty. Experience in fine dining environments or hospitality industry roles that demand attention to detail. Familiarity with beverage recipe development and brewing or brewing-related knowledge is a plus. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills; basic math proficiency is essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures in food service settings. Previous experience in bar management or supervising staff is advantageous but not required. Strong communication skills combined with a proactive attitude toward teamwork in fast-paced settings such as restaurants or banquet events.
